16A What's Your Secret Sauce?

·       My Own Description of my Human Capital
1.     I have a diverse world perspective due to my involvement in international programs and my extensive travels across the world.
2.     I have lived a very unique life living in many different places and in many different styles of life including living aboard a 52 ft Sailboat sailing around the US and Caribbean.
3.     I have 16 years of experience as a performer and an actor. This will make selling this product much easier than if I didn’t have this type of experience.
4.     I have 4 years in the foodservice industry. I’ve seen the ins and outs of the restaurant industry from many different angles which gives me a unique perspective on the industry and how to evolve it.
5.     I’m extremely motivated to accomplish a task I set my mind too. I’ve done things that some people thought I couldn’t do but I succeed anyway even though they doubted my skills and tenacity.

1.     Mom

My mom has always been there for every major event in my life. She always made me and my brother a priority in her life. To hear that my passion is what sets me apart is an honor to hear. I try my best to do things the right way and to hear that same sentiment from my mother's voice is an achievement in and of itself

2.     Dad

Even though my father wasn’t always in my life, not for anything bad, but because he would be working overseas for 6 months out of the year flying military troops and cargo around the world. I have a deep respect for everything that he has done for me and hearing how much respect he has for me as well is nothing short of an honor.

3.     Brother

My brother and I have a very unique relationship. We grew up basically spending every minute together. I was kind of a third parent to him since both of our parents worked full time while we were younger. We do a lot together, but we can also butt heads at times. However its clear in the video that the good outweighs the bad.

4.     Girlfriend

The comments made by my girlfriend might be more based on her feelings for me and how much she cares about me rather than the objective view of me as an individual. However, she knows a side of me that many others do not get a chance to see so her opinions definitely hold weight to those who want to understand me from that perspective

5.     Best Friend/Roommate
Me and my best friend Mac (as I call him since we share the same name) we have been inseparable since we met our freshman year here at UF. We both share a lot of passions including that for the sport of bowling but also for UF athletics as well. I have a lot of respect for everything Mac has done in my life for the short time that he has been a part of it. His kind words hold a lot of weight with me.

·       Reflection between my own reflection and the reflections of others


I think the traits and skills brought up by the 5 interviewees were very similar to the ones I brought up in my own self-evaluation of what makes me different. However, I feel one of the major differences between mine and theirs was that they focused a lot more on the emotional strengths I have rather than the outside things I do. This makes sense to me because I don’t tend to focus on those emotional aspects of my personality while to others those aspects might be more prominent.

    The values you identified in yourself match what your interviewees said about you which shows that you know yourself well and that these skills are prominent enough for others to notice them in you. Your broad range of skills and traits that set you apart from the others are quite unique and it appears they have given you an open mind to the world. The people who know you best picked out the emotional traits that can be hard to identify by yourself because they become second nature to us. There's probably a bunch of people out there with similar business ideas as us but it's these unique skills and traits that set us apart and make our product or service more valuable than the competitors.

    I like how you included videos of the people closest to you. It really adds a personal touch onto it all. I feel like i really got to know your relationships. It is often really hard to talk about the good things and traits about yourself, so I see where the difference comes in. Great job!

As I look back on this past semester in ENT 3003 I can only imagine what it would be like if I had chosen not to take this class during drop/add. I have learned so much not only from a business perspective but on creative thinking and perseverance even when things were to become difficult. From the Bug List assignment to all the reading reflections as well as the numerous interviews I had to do with potential customers in my concept, I would not be the same person I am today without these frustrations. When I originally signed up for this class I thought I was going to learn what I had to do to be an entrepreneur but in the end, I learned that and so much more. 9A Testing Hypothesis Part 2

The interviews: As a continuation to the first part of my opportunity, I conducted 5 more interviews of students, fans, and other members of the community to gain a better understanding of the lack of affordable food options at major events around Gainesville. Some interesting findings that I noticed throughout the interview process are that this issue seems to mainly affect students and people who don’t necessarily have an endless amount of free income. Students obviously have a lot of educational expenses with tuition, room and board, books, etc. So, they don’t necessarily have the ability to spend $10-$15 on two small items from concession stands at sports games or food trucks at concerts. While adults with stable jobs are better equipped to accommodate to the increased price since they don’t necessarily have the same quantity of economic constraints that students seem to have. 15A Figuring Out Buyer Behavior #2

        Summary of Interviews Based on the three interviews that I’ve obtained for this assignment there are definitely some clear elements to products in this space that are huge determining factors when it comes to buyer behavior. One of the common threads that were brought up numerous times throughout the interviews was the quality of the food is better than that of the vendor options offered inside the stadiums. They told me some of their horror stories of how terrible their experience was with some of the concession stands that they’ve experienced while attending sporting events. They’ve seen food under heat lamps while they stood in lines for about twenty minutes.
