According to The Balance article, a Prudential survey found that Baby Boomers are delaying retirement because of the recession. Thus, the retirement crisis continues as older generations are continuing to work longer and leaving significantly fewer jobs for the younger generations. The article suggests the use of “technological innovation” to create more jobs. To solve this issue, the government might consider offering benefits to individuals once they’ve reached a certain age willing to retire. Employers might also consider offering better pay or part-time positions to senior level employees willing to teach employees of the younger generations. ·         I came across this oppo...

3A Entrepreneurship Story

Starting in about September 2016, my mother and I started our own family business. My mother was inspired by boat canvas and sewing in general and decided that she wanted to establish her own custom canvas business for boat covers and other canvas related products. I have helped her with all the web design and logo construction as well as all the other technical aspects of the business while she handles all the physical sewing and contract negotiations with potential customers. The pictures posted are our company logo and her brick and mortar location where all the products are made.  This was only the start of my entrepreneurship story, my brother and I also have plans to operate a food truck following his high school graduation. My brother has Asperger’s syndrome and this food truck idea has been on his mind for a long time. He always tells my mom how he can’t wait to graduate so he and I could finally start this second entrepreneurial venture. The reason I chose to take thi...

There is no need for them to be fully staffed during these times because aren’t as many customers. 2.       During UF Men’s Basketball game check in’s, they only have one body scanner running at a time for the student section entrance. Making the process take a long time. ·         This is probably a safety thing. If they focus solely on one machine they can be extremely accurate with their searches. This way they know for sure that the entire arena is safe. 3.       ...
